Broken Her smile once illuminated her eyes, Like a pair of glowing fireflies, Dancing a private, exotic dance. But now, her eyes have dulled, They've lost the illustrious glow Of life they once held. She only smiles for the sake of hiding Her brokenness and insecurities. I cannot help, but notice that Her smile does not reach her eyes Like it once did. |
